Social Media is evolving

The new social media will be more intimate. Social media started with text first, short text that doesn't cause much anxiety, they are just some sentences, it grew up to photos, which many people were too shy to share, and those who shared, they shared the best ones. Then came the video platform which was too inspired by films was very much planned and directed, soon it evolved to the Snapchat era, where the more private photos were circulated too. But it is more popular among the young gen, that is the generation who weren't used to public display their real-life still hesitate to do so, but as the new generation, who was early on influenced by social media and sharing of images, these things are pretty normal to them, and they are more comfortable to it. People are getting Woke, and cultures are getting mixed up, Indians following the culture of Americans, Americans doing the Indian things, many are following in love and creating more mixed generation offsprings.

Now, these platforms are prentending to be more private and yet are allowing a lot of public. Intimacy is exposed to a large audience, people are getting comfortable sharing things that they earlier might have hesitated for. Now with platforms that are providing access to more anonymity to identity, people are leveraging it to be more open, say with avatars where none of your real self is exposed, people are doing crazy things which they might otherwise not.

We are moving to more intimate form of social culture, and we are getting more connected.
